Make sure you are submitting your Tracking Forms within 24 hours after you volunteer. To check the status of your DLFF service hours, please open the link “DLFF Service Hours To Date” in our DLFF class on Schoology. The hours reflected in the spreadsheet are based on tracking forms to date (A.K.A hours are credited once tracking forms are received). Click here to fill out a tracking form.

Scholars are in full swing with their service teams!

A very successful Annual Coat Drive for the Social Services Team just wrapped up. These students also hosted events at the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter and the YMCA.

Original works of art by the Creative Arts Team (CATs) have been submitted for distribution at the YWCA. Their Christmas Carol Cheer event will take place mid December, bringing joy to seniors in our community.

The Education Team began work at Holy Trinity’s After School Program with sixteen scholars supporting the elementary students with their homework and various clubs.

From making marketing videos, to taking up collections, the Independent Service Teams have taken on a variety of projects to serve the community! 

In support of our mentorship program, DLFF invited a distinguished alum, Mr. Zane Moore President/CEO of River Crossing YMCA, to speak on Leadership Through Service. As a part of the DLFF Speaker Series,

Mr. Moore gave advice on trusting your gut in times of uncertainty, stories on his commitment to service and even offered his personal email address to our scholars for potential opportunities. 

Scholars left the event describing it as “empowering and motivating.”

The Scholar Leadership Council (SLC) is hosting a Holiday Service Social for DLFF scholars on December 3rd! You are invited to join us for merriment and music, while enjoying some holiday festivities. A hot cocoa bar, gingerbread making contest and a service opportunity will round out the event. Join us to celebrate the season and to contribute your time to those in need.
