Scholar News

Hello DLFF Scholars, friends and families

Happy New Year!

The Creative Arts Team (CATs) had a very busy December rehearsing for and performing in the two-day "Christmas Carol & Cheer" tour. They delivered nearly 20 performances, spreading holiday joy to over 700 people at local elementary schools and in the community. They caroled, gave gifts and shared festive cheer! Our other service teams are still busy working on their projects and we will all come together on February 6th for our wrap-up.

The results are in! The Council has selected Abby Blair as the new SLC Freshman Executive Board Representative. Abby will help to lead communication and engagement for the DLFF Scholar Freshman. Freshman additions to our Scholar Leadership Team also include Ruth Bower and Michael O'Brien. Congratulations everyone!

February 11th is DLFF’s next Lunch & Learn for “Thrive in ‘25. We've invited our beloved CEC counselor, Mr. Paul Jones to present on "Stress Management for Scholars" during all lunches. Seats are limited and it’s first come, first serve. Join us for an informative discussion...bring lunch and bring a friend!

"Stop by, and Say Hi" on Wednesday, February 12th for a Valentine Social. Come in to pick up a treat during all lunches.

It's always great when we can get together!
